Help Jeff's Family in Their Battle Against Cancer

This is for Breona. She is a 16 year old girl who is full of life and has a whole life to live. She’s outgoing, hanging with her friends, Cheerleading and just being a normal teenager. Unfortunately her summer will be cut short.

In May 2024 Breona noticed a Knot on her right breast that had become painful to her. After going to the dr and having test and a biopsy done, at the beginning of June Breona was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma which is a rare form of Cancer but is very aggressive.

Tomorrow (July 2) she will be admitted to UVA where she will have a pick line put in so that she can begin Chemo. She does have to stay for 3 days and will receive Chemo every 24 hours. Once she has had a certain amount of treatments she will then undergo surgery to have the Tumor removed. Sadly it doesn’t stop there, she will have to continue treatments for approximately 6 months after surgery which will require her to stay over night 3 or 4 days out of a week . Drs hope that Chemo will be enough and hopes radiation won’t be needed

Sadly in 2021 she lost her mother to COVID leaving only her dad to care for her and her sister. Since all this has came to the surface her father has had to miss a significant amount of time from work due to traveling to UVA once sometimes twice a week, when she isn’t staying overnight. Times are hard for everyone right now but being a single parent dealing with the stress of “ what am I going to do” is even harder

Any amount is appreciated as this family will need all the love and support they can get right now. As a parent myself and as Breona’s Step sister this is hard on us all.
