Help Jen and Karl Rebuild after Altadena Fire

Our dear friends Jen, Karl, and their two sons, Ernesto (4 yo) and Nico (3 mos), lost their house and all their belongings in the Altadena fire. This was their first home and they poured a lot of love and DIY landscaping efforts into it, with Ernesto often helping them to dig in the dirt and plant trees.

While the family escaped before the fire, they didn’t have time to rescue their cat Tux nor pack their possessions, losing years of irreplaceable personal items like Jen’s wedding ring, journals, art works, hard drives of video projects/photos, their children’s books/toys, and their car.

The family shared their beloved home and hospitality with so many of us. From birthday celebrations, extravagant Halloween parties, baby showers and even mimosa brunches from back in the day. We are so fortunate for their generosity throughout the years.

They are currently looking for housing while they stay with family and friends. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated as they try to rebuild their lives after everything was lost. Please give whatever you can. ❤️
