Help Jen Crum kick cancers a**!!

In July 2019, at the forever young age of 42, our dear friend Jen *Jenivieve* Crum was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer.
The first month has been a rough road of physical and emotional processing. In and out of the hospital a total of 18 days while learning that the cancer has spread to her bones. Her bones have been deteriorating from the lesions which causes an extreme amount of pain and fatigue. After the second time back in the hospital it was discovered she had several fractures on her cervical vertebrae, pelvis and ribs. Each day, even through the pain this woman fights on! First round of chemo and Jen handled it like a champ. She just wrapped up 10 days of radiation and enjoying a 5 day break before hitting the chemo cocktail hard again.
In the face of such heartbreaking news Jen’s spitfire personality and sense of humor shine brighter than ever. Her smile still melts your heart, her eyes twinkle with determination and her hugs, now more tender, are warm with love. If you know Jen well you would be please to hear her ass kicking, sarcastic, spunky spirit is as strong as ever! She finds a way to make light of the shit storm raining down on her and finding humor even when getting lost in the corridors of the hospital or rocking a storm trooper radiation mask!
Our Jen is no stranger to the hustle of life. Shuffling her two boys to games, full time mamahood and running her painting business, The Art Lab Spokane. During this time the best thing for Jen is to focus on fighting this cancer and giving her body the time to heal and recover while spending precious moments with her family and friends.
The funding from your contributions will go directly to Jen and her family to off set all the uninsured medical expenses, basic living, medical co-pays and any other needs directly related to her health care. And most importantly so this family can focus on the important task of supporting her and each other.
Since Jen is just starting on her road to kicking cancers ass we will keep this page updated with news from her family, friends and Jen herself.
Thanks and gratitude from Jen’s family for all the outpouring of love thus far. Jen, Dave, Kalem and Koah are beyond grateful for all of you!!
with love,
