Help Jen Day Get Urgent Cancer Treatment

Jen Day has been a server at our local Chili's in Mesa, AZ, for over 10 years. Recently, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and has a family history of the disease. Her lumpectomy was scheduled for mid January but was canceled at the last minute. M.D. Anderson Cancer Center offers a payment plan for the portion of her medical bills not covered by insurance, but the host hospital requires full payment upfront. Jen could consider quitting her job and pursuing government assistance, but that seems like a difficult way to handle her situation.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 states:

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up."

With more than two, we can all help to lift this burden and eliminate this delay in her treatment!

Any funds raised over Jen's actual need will be provided to the American Cancer Society, or like organization. that assist others who have circumstances like hers.
