Help Jenn Hunsicker (fall trama victim) & family

On the evening of March 1 , 2022 in Palmerton Pennsylvania Jennifer and her family were at home for a normal evening preparing dinner. She had gone in the cellar way to get a can of corn and had a horrible accident falling backwards down the basement stairs onto the concrete basement floor. She was taken by ambulance to LVHN cedar crest and is currently residing in the ICU. For the first couple days after her accident she remained in a fog state non-responsive but breathing on her own. She has a fractured skull that’s bleeding and swollen with bleeding and swelling of the brain. Also, broken bone in The right ear. In true Jennifer fashion she was fighting and needed to be restrained at some point to keep herself safe and has a one to one staff member with her. She had a very good weekend this weekend showing some signs of communication and even being allowed to sit in a recliner for two days on and off. At this point LVHN doctors do you feel that Jen will make a full recovery but, this will be a long long road for her and her family and that’s where we all need to jump in and help! Let’s get together and help Jennifer‘s family keep the homestay afloat while she focuses on her recovery and gets back to her normal strong self. Jen is a Dieruff high school history teacher and local soccer coach, Dieruff high school tennis coach, and senior class advisor for dieruff high school class of 2022. She is also a wife to David Hunsicker and a mother to five-year-old daughter Aubree. So come on everybody get what you can doesn’t matter if it’s a dollar or as much as you can afford let’s help this family and this woman who gives her all every day to her craft and is a pleasure to all who know her………
