Help Jen rebuild her business
Donation protected
As many of you know, on November 23rd, 2021 there was a large fire in Longmeadow MA that destroyed a number of local businesses. The buildings that escaped the flames have severe smoke and water damage. Many self-employed small business owners are left to pick up the pieces with little to save and a mountain of expenses to begin rebuilding.
Jen is one of those small business owners. Jen owns PurSkin and was operating out of the same building as The Longmeadow Salon. Jen is a licensed esthetician and has been in business for herself for 4 years. Jen was just getting back on her feet after the COVID shut down and, as you can imagine, is devastated emotionally and monetarily by the sudden loss of her business.
Jen not only has to replace the majority of her equipment but has to figure out, yet again, how to survive being shut down with no notice or warning. Jen was renting her space from The Longmeadow Salon, and is not an employee. Jen is a friend to all, an extremely talented esthetician, an equestrian and a very proud business owner.
We understand that this time of year is not an ideal time to ask for people to open their wallets but if anyone deserves a break it is Jen. Please give what you can, and if you cannot give, please share this story. Any and all amounts are appreciated.
