Help Jenn Meehan Fight Breast Cancer

On January 16th Jenn went to UVM for a diagnostic mammogram on what was thought to be a cyst. She was asked to return a week later for a biopsy; by the end of that week she was told she had breast cancer.

This has been a huge shock to her and her family. Jenn being the over-thinker she is, keeps worrying about Dan, the kids, the finances, transportation and making sure everyone else is OK when really she needs to concentrate on one thing: Beating Cancer!

They don't have a lot of extended family to help them. They're still healing from the loss of Dan's sister to cancer last July. Dan’s parents have passed. Jenn's parents are out of state until March.

Let's face it, Cancer is expensive. No other way to put it. Jenn's had 5 trips to UVM in the last 13 days just for tests. That's only going to increase. Dan is the bread winner. Every day he misses work to be Jenn's caregiver goes unpaid. Both of their vehicles are in need of repairs in order for them to be up for making frequent trips to UVM. They may have to look into hiring care givers for Ambie and Chace for certain times and it needs to be people with Autism experience. Needless to say there's a lot!

I want to do anything that we can to take as much off Jenn's mind as possible so she knows things at home will be fine while she goes through this cancer journey. Jenn and I have known each other since we were very young and I know she won’t ask for help, so I’m asking for her. She needs this help.
