On 6/22/24 my sister Jenn and her dog Rokko lost everything in a house fire. In her words: "Life gave me an unexpected turn today. I took Rokko to the vet at 2pm. About 30 minutes later, my landlord called me and said the neighbors called to say the house is on fire. I rushed out and when I arrived home, it was surrounded by fire trucks from 3 different counties. I managed to salvage a portion of my clothes, however, almost everything else is gone.

"I am fine. Physically. Rokko is fine. He is with his dogsitter until I can get settled somewhere. The fire investigators say it started on the outside of the house and in the back. They don't know what caused it. Everything was fine when I left and in less than an hour, I am homeless and my world has been erased. I need help. I rarely say that. I do need help though."

She is alone in the Baltimore area and has a long road ahead to get back on her feet. Please help with any amount you can.
