Hi, my name is Jenna. When I was 26 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I started off by getting a lumpectomy, but it was unsuccessful. Then wound up getting a double mastectomy with the recommendation from my doctors. After my double mastectomy surgery, I had to do chemotherapy and radiation.

My mom Linda Nadzan also had breast cancer. We were both fighting our cancer journey together, but unfortunately, my mom Linda lost her battle with breast cancer this past year. During chemotherapy, my teeth started hurting, and eventually, my teeth started cracking and breaking because of the medications I was on and because of sickness. I’m now 30 years old, and every single one of my teeth is either cracked or broken. I also have a lot of missing teeth now. I have no back teeth at all now. I am in so much pain and can barely eat. I have to eat mostly soft foods with my front teeth. I am very embarrassed and have no self-confidence because of this.

I have been to 5 different dentists, and they all have recommended that I get this surgery. They will need to give me bone grafting and fix my jaw bone first because of a mistake a previous dentist had made and because I have missing teeth in that area. My jawbone is disintegrating. Once the bone grafting is done, they will implant permanent teeth all in one 8 hour surgery. I just simply cannot afford this. I cannot work at the moment, and I also have an 8-year-old daughter. I would love to just be able to be comfortable and not in pain anymore. I would also just like to be able to smile again without the feeling of embarrassment.
