Dear friends and family!
I am very excited to tell you about the huge progress we have made in helping Claire so far.
I am now helped by four friends ( Miche, Fred, Guy & Finja), Who have spoken to different experts, Doctors and Hospitals all over Europe( especially Germany, Switzerland & France).
We're also looking into the best option of transportation, in order to save Claire from travelling by plane as this would be very stressful.
We will keep you updated with more news and would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for your support and funding. Claire needs all of us right now.
God Bless you all.
Please help everyone, our names are Kevin and Danny and we're trying to raise funds to help our dear friend and actress Jenna Harrison.
A very short time ago, Jenna was an aspiring actress on the verge of really making a name for herself on a global level in film and on stage working with the likes of Woody Harrelson, Ben Whishaw and Sam Neill to name but a few.
While taking horse riding lessons for a potential role, Jenna suffered a fall. Unbeknown to Jenna this was to be the start of a much more serious issue.
A few months later Jenna was training and strained her left knee which over time would not heal, this progressed to her being unable to bear any weight on the left side of her body.
She then was trying to climb stairs and her left sided Sacraliliac joint suddenly 'snapped'.. an acute situation.
She was left undiagnosed bedridden for a year. To compensate, the right side of her body overcompensated.

She was left undiagnosed bedridden for a year. To compensate, the right side of her body overcompensated.
She had no help or physio offered and lost an enormous amount of weight..
Eventually she was referred to an NHS surgeon, who examined Jenna and performed one test with an injection to see if this would relieve the pain, there was a slight relief but no significant improvement. He then advised the Sacraliliac joint had slipped and needed to be fused. No conservative care or physiotherapy was considered.
She was NOT examined physically for almost a year before her fusion. In that time the whole of the right side of her body had contorted, her pelvis like a conical shell, the right side very very proud and the right illium displaced.

The first operation was cancelled due to irregular blood test results, she then waited another 3 months for the procedure. On the day of the procedure, the surgeon did not give her the opportunity for a proper physical examination. She was very worried about the right sided protrusion but so desperate to walk again she trusted they wouldn't hurt her.
Several times leading up to the surgery, Jenna asked about the right-hand-side of her body and the surgeon said they were only going to concentrate on the left-hand-side despite the joint protruding from the right side of her hip.
She is hypermobile to an extensive degree, especially in her spine.

Hours after the surgery, Jenna was complaining about the right-hand-side of her hip still protruding, the surgeon was not available for comment at this point but did see Jenna post op.
Shortly after returning home, Jenna's mother discovered she herself had Stage 4 bone cancer, things could not get much worse. Jenna asked for a second opinion regarding the fusion, the specialist, viewed Jenna's scans and said 'why did he put 3 cages in you when you only needed 2, you are only slight'.
She was fused into a very unusual pelvic and spinal rotation.
She has tried to rehabilitate but now the right side of her pelvis has spasmed forwards contorting her whole body.
She seeked help at Addenbrrokes {UK} when her body was falling apart but again was left to struggle with no support.

At this moment in time, Jenna and her mother have no savings left, or, as a result of Jenna being unable to work, no money coming in to help pay for her recovery. We need to get Jenna the help she needs.
She is hypermobile and a very unusual case because she doesn't fit into any boxes she has suffered severe neglect.

Jenna does not have a life right now.
We have been advised by several Physios, Chiropractors, Osteopaths etc.. that Jenna requires intensive residential treatment and rehabilitation, however, as she is so unusual she need to find a facility who are specialised in dealing with such an unusual presentation/case.
Nobody in the UK has given her any hope, especially no the right joint has slipped to such an extent.

We are pursuing all avenues.. in terms of rehabilitation/surgery if necessary.
She has exhausted all NHS possiblities... and needs to try and find a clinic which is capable of diagnosing and helping her move forwards with her rehabilitation..
She is trying to find clinics who can help her but in a most unusual case it takes expert help.. and unfortunately funds which Claire does not have.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
If anyone out there can advise it would be very welcome.
But to even consider a properly organised rehabilitaion regieme at this point is going to cost money, which she just does not have.
We are very very worried about her future, it's got to the point she has almost given up.
