Help Jenna chase her Olympic Bobsled Dream
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jenna Weidner. I am a Development pilot for Team USA Bobsled which means I drive bobsleds. I am an Olympic hopeful for 2026. One of the biggest things most people don’t know about Olympic sports is that they have extremely little funding. I will not receive any funding this year. This means that I will have to cover all costs which total about $17,000 this season. The main cost for pilots is the purchase of Bobsled Runners. Runners are the metal pieces that go under our sled that we slide on and are the responsibility of each pilot. Runners cost over $5,000.
I have been invited to race in Park City, Utah and Lake Placid, NY, the location of the two Bobsled tracks in the USA, this season on the North American Cup. I raced in Park City last year in my rookie season, but am ready to commit to the sport. Please give what you can to help me raise money for one of the most important pieces of equipment for allowing me to train and compete this year to continue my Olympic dream.
