Help Jennie Fight her Brain Tumor Battle

Hey everyone,

We have decided to start a go fund me since recently finding out our mother, Jennie Lloyd, has been diagnosed with a massive brain tumor. This news was extremely devastating to our mother, her family and our friends.

She has a Meningioma brain tumor that has encased her sinuses, both optic nerves, the intersection of the optic nerves, both carotic arteries and her pituitary gland.

Sadly, we found out after an urgent appointment with her Neuro Surgeon that, because of the location and size of the tumor, surgery is not an option as it would be way too risky. As of now, the tumor is approximately the size of a tennis ball. It is located at the base of the skull behind her eyes. Our mom is now awaiting surgery in mid July to have a biopsy done. This will determine the grade of the tumor. From the biopsy, the doctors can determine the type of radiation treatment that she will be receiving.

For the biopsy alone, our mom will be off work for up to 7 weeks, this is not including her radiation, extensive hormone therapy, multiple MRI’s and specialist appointments that are to follow. All of this can be a lot to take in. We are trying to ease her stress as for anyone that knows our mom, knows that she is the most selfless and giving person around. Us kids figured the least we can do is start a go fund me in hopes that we can relieve some of the financial stress and burden that she is facing.
