Help Jennifer Cachua Keep Her Family Together

Hey everyone,

My name is Jennifer Cachua, and I am reaching out to you all because my family is in danger of being separated.

You see, my husband is at risk of facing deportation due to his illegal status. He was brought here as a child and currently has DACA. My husband has lived here since he was 10 months old. This is his only home. He currently pays taxes, we own our own home, and have a beautiful family together.

My husband wants nothing more than to become a US citizen, but he has to have legal entry to do so. For this to happen, he must enter through a port of entry and be inspected before being allowed in.

We had applied for the Keeping Families Together Act, but sadly that has been deemed unlawful by the Supreme Court. Therefore, my husband will have to leave the country and re-enter before he can have legal entry.

This in itself is a long process and costs a lot of money. We will have to pay our lawyer all over again in the hopes that we can get this approved and that my husband will be allowed back into the country. We also will have to pay travel fees and make up for any money lost while we both travel.

Guys, we don’t have the means to pay for this ourselves. The financial hardship that this is, surpasses the stretch of our wallet. Please, if you are unable to give anything, just pray for us. My kids need their father. I need my husband. It shouldn’t be like this. I shouldn’t have to worry if the government will take my husband away.
