Hi, my name is Amy Berman and I am supporting fundraising for my childhood friend, Jennifer Davidson. #BreastCancerAwareness
Ever have one of those days that starts off really well and somehow manages to actually keep improving? But then out of nowhere, it feels like you’ve been hit by a truck and left on the side of the road while your life shatters around you? Well, if you know what I’m talking about, then you can relate to Jennifer Davidson’s situation.
All her life, Jennifer has been very athletic and a total gym rat who loves jump roping. Everyone knows her as a vibrant and active person and a hard worker. 2023 started out with great promise for her. She felt healthy and strong—and both her personal life and her professional life were going well. What could possibly go wrong? Cancer, that’s what.
Jennifer was recently diagnosed with breast cancer—triple negative, invasive ductal carcinoma. This type of cancer is particularly aggressive, has a high rate of recurrence, spreads quickly (fortunately, it does not appear to have spread at this time), and can easily double in size every three months. Despite its severity, Jennifer has wonderful doctors who believe that her outlook is positive. To reach this positive outcome, however, Jennifer will need (and has started) five months of strong chemotherapy, to be followed by surgery and radiation.
Jennifer is an independent, strong woman with a great sense of humor. But to make it through this course of treatment, Jennifer needs our help with medical expenses not covered by insurance and to pay bills she cannot handle while receiving treatment. During the five arduous months of chemotherapy, she will be pretty much bedridden and consequently cannot work.
Our goal is to raise these funds so that Jennifer can focus on fighting this battle without the added stress of financial worries.
Please donate to this campaign and share it with your friends, family, and network. Your support will be SO MUCH appreciated, and every dollar of support will help.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support in helping Jennifer get back to the great life she was building!
