Help Jennifer through Cancer Treatments
Donation protected
I was diagnosed with Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer) in early February 2021. As my cancer has an aggressiveness of 83%, I began chemotherapy treatments on March 4th at the University of Tennessee Cancer Center. My current treatment plan requires continued chemo treatments for the next 15 weeks, followed by 4-6 weeks of physical rest before surgery to remove one or both breasts and have reconstructive surgery. Per my oncologists recommendations, I have been working from home as to not be around people during the pandemic. The side effects of my treatments thus far have included total hair loss (donated to Wigs For Kids), fatigue, nausea, bone pain and the most unpleasant metal taste in my mouth. As my treatments proceed I have been told to expect as these symptoms to worsen.
As a single female, my gainful employment as a full-time apartment community Property Manager has been modified to 32 hours per week in order to maintain my medical insurance at the very least. Shameless plug: I am truly blessed to work for the best property management company in the world as they have been beyond accommodating during this difficult process and my individual team members have extended much care and positive support.
I am fundraising for the medical bills reflecting my deductible payments that have already come in and daily living expenses that have not changed in light of my diagnosis. To make matters more dire, I will have to move out of my current townhouse as my lease is expiring in June and I will not being making the required 3X rent to income ratio to renew for at least the next 6 months (property recently sold to a competitive property management company).
Any and all help donated will be very much appreciated and relieve a great deal of financial stress, allowing me to focus on physical, mental, emotional & spiritual healing as I join the phenomenal universal family of Breast Cancer Survivors! Thank you!!
