Help Jenny Fund Her Year Abroad

My name is Jenny, and I'm an undergraduate studying Modern Languages, Translation and Interpreting BA. In September 2019, I started my degree and received only 5 months of in-person tuition before the first lockdown of 2020 came, and teaching moved online. Online teaching was immensely damaging for students' mental health, mine included, and students like myself were mostly left confined to their small university residences, alone and unsupported. In 2021, I was supposed to begin my Year Abroad in China, however as the virus remained widespread and fatal, China's borders remained closed, and my degree was temporarily put on hold.
It has now been 3 years since I began my Bachelor's degree, and I still have 2 years of study left to complete, without the university funding to complete them.
I've decided to try and fund my own year abroad in Taiwan so that I won't lose any more time and can graduate from my undergraduate degree by 2024.
Using a combination of loans, fundraising, and scholarship applications, I intend to study a 6-month intensive Mandarin course, so I can graduate from my degree without missing out on the vital study abroad experience and without having the events of the coronavirus pandemic devalue my degree.
Honestly, the pandemic has made a total mess of my degree, and so if you can donate even a small amount, it would really mean a lot to me, as my time spent abroad massively increases my employability and credibility as a language speaker after I graduate.
Thank you, and wish me luck ❤️
