Help Jenny Recover From Devastating Studio Fire
Donation protected
On the morning of June 8th a fire broke out on the first floor of the building that housed Jenny's sewing studio that quickly spread to a full structure fire. The entire building, also home to a collective of other artists, was a total loss. For more info on the fire you can read this article here:

As one of Jenny's friends, I am absolutely devastated for her and we all wish to help relieve as much stress as possible.
Jenny has insurance but unfortunately it will not cover all the value that was lost. With this gofundme we hope to be able to raise enough aid so she can replace her supplies, help her rebuild, ease some of her living expenses and overall just try to relieve the overwhelming stress and pain this accident has caused.
Here were some of the stunning original works by Jenny that were lost to the fire:
And in her own words, Jenny says
"This is all that's left of my studio space downtown. Just a smoldering heap of memories, visions, and potential. All gone.
I moved into this incredible 12x24 work space in January. It held 95% of my costumes, 18 years of fabric, my supplies, my vintage clothing, my styling kit, 6 racks of clothing that I'd collected over the years to use in shoots or sell. Everything I've done, everything I was going to do, my next big step after the testing company winds down, melted and twisted, incinerated to nothingness.
The worst of the fire was directly below my space. The exploded CO2 canisters from the 1st floor smoke shop are littering the street. The floors collapsed. The roof collapsed. Even if something somehow didn't burn, it would be smoke damaged and water logged beyond saving.
I have to start making a list for insurance. I have to face all that I've lost.
My Last Unicorn dress.
My Versailles gown.
The vintage dress Grant got me that I wore to the Emmy's.
My grandmother's 1940s velvet jacket.
Everything I've ever made for LoJ. Everything I was going to make.
My collection of silk, my bolt of $300/yd lace, my in progress costumes, my on hold commissions, my creative visions and plans for the future...
The 2nd floor that I was on held a collective of artists. They've all lost their work and supplies as well. The few I met this morning are all grappling with the gravity and reality of what this all means and how to move forward.
For all that I've joked about cleansing fire, I never expected it to actually happen."
Every dollar counts, so please, if you can donate even $1, I thank you!
