Hello my name is Jennifer Allen former manageress of well loved ‘Rolls and Rems’ Lewisham for over 20 years.

We started this fundraiser to maintain our new fabric and haberdashers shop in Lewisham which was and still is much needed. 

 

As we approach our 14-month milestone, we are excited to share the incredible progress Gennys Emporium has made since its opening. When we first started this journey, the shelves were scarce, but today, they are overflowing with a captivating array of beautiful materials, thanks to the tremendous support we have received from our amazing community. Gennys Emporium has become a bustling hub of creativity, attracting creators from various sectors. From skilled home dressmakers to ambitious university students, from enthusiastic ‍‍school students to seasoned theatre professionals and TV productions, we are honored to welcome diverse talents under our roof. Looking into the future, we are eager to expand our offerings to meet the growing demand for sewing and crafting sessions. We believe in the power of hands-on learning ✋and want to provide enriching opportunities for individuals to enhance their skills and explore their artistic ️potential. To make these sessions a reality, we are seeking additional funding which will be used to subsidise costs to run the classes so we are counting on your continued support.
