Help Jeremiah find diagnosis

I’ve debated whether or not to share what’s been happening. I didn’t want to be bombarded and I wasn’t sure how serious it was. At this point we’ve decided it’s time to ask for help. I’ve been quietly trying to find out what’s been happening to me having lost 40 lbs in the past month. I don’t drink, I don’t use drugs, I live a very healthy lifestyle. This started with me having pains around Christmas in my side and I was hesitant to go to the hospital. Luckily my girlfriend pushed me to go to the ER. Originally Bella Vista (PR) told me a whole slew of issues from an enlarged liver, abundance of cysts/lesions “too numerous to count”, enlarged calcified prostate, cysts at base of colon, ulcerative colitis, diverticulosis, and a whole bunch of nonsense I couldn’t even comprehend at the time. I was told to seek a GI doctor for biopsies and a colonoscopy but my primary care physician closed his practice without notification to his patients or my insurance. I made a tough call after talking with loved ones to fly to Florida to seek treatment and answers. I checked into Advent health in Daytona where they told me my colon was the size of a hamburger and my intestines were basically going through some form of paralysis where they weren’t moving food through my body. The intestinal wall is not absorbing nutrition so my body basically started eating itself. This malnutrition is causing hair loss, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, and several other symptoms. The doctor explained there are basically a few possible explanations. A parasite could have attached itself to my intestinal wall, Colon cancer, or possible bacteria infection.. but nothing was showing in blood work. Again I was discharged and told to seek a GI for immediate biopsy. With no procedures available in the next month I’m now being sent up to Sloan Kettering in NY. I was lucky enough to get on Medicaid and get a Colonoscopy/biopsy scheduled next week and will hopefully get some answers. I’m not a religious man but I am spiritual and have been praying it’s just a parasite draining my nutrition. I’ve been trying to figure all this out on my own but have been unable to work lately and have been relying on friends & family for help. Between traveling, hospital bills, medication, and everything else it’s been very tough. I need a little help. Just to take the weight off my loved ones and help with food and medication while I’m fighting this and searching for answers. I appreciate any support be it emotional or financial. I love you all tremendously and I’m hoping to be back in the water soon surfing big waves again and just being back with my gf and my dogs in our little paradise making more beautiful memories.
