Help Jeremiah Heal from Gun Violence
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, community members and Compassionate Strangers,
I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plead for help. Our precious baby, Jeremiah Carlos who is just 3 months old was tragically shot along with his father by harmful individuals in the Little Village neighborhood. While simply out for a store run to get baby formula, this unfortunate and senseless act of violence occurred and turned our families worlds upside down. We are now facing a devastating crisis.
Jeremiah is currently in the hospital undergoing intensive medical treatment. He is connected to many tubes and IVS. The road to recovery will be long and challenging, requiring multiple surgeries, continuous medical care, and therapy. As we focus on being by Jeremiah’s side every step of the way, the mounting medical bills and related expenses will become overwhelming.
We have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support during this critical time. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering Jeremiah’s medical expenses, including hospital stays, surgeries, medications, and specialized care. Additionally, we need assistance with travel expenses, daily necessities, and ensuring we can provide a safe and stable environment for Jeremiahs recovery. We don’t want to go back to our neighborhood where this tragedy happened and unfortunately neither one of us (his parents) are going to be able to work anytime soon.
Every donation, no matter the amount will make a tremendous difference in our ability to support Jeremiah and our family through this traumatic experience. Your kindness and generosity will help us give Jeremiah the best chance at not only a safe and healthy recovery, but a safer environment and neighborhood to be in moving forward for him and his big brother, Christian.
Please consider donating and sharing our story with your network. Your love and support means the world to us and brings us hope during these unfortunate circumstances.
With much Love and appreciation,
Best regards from Jeremiah’s family.
