Help Jerry Find Comfort in Hospice Care
Donation protected
In November 2022, my brother-in-law Jerry—one of the toughest people I know—received a devastating diagnosis: stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Despite enduring countless treatments—hormone therapy, radiation, an experimental trial at UCSF, and eventually chemotherapy—he never once complained. He even continued working to support his family for as long as he possibly could.
Each step of this journey took an enormous physical and emotional toll. As the cancer progressed throughout his body, Jerry suffered severe back, shoulder, and leg pain, battled fluid retention, debilitating headaches, and finally found himself in the ER, facing the limits of palliative care. By God’s grace, he was accepted to Celia’s House in Medford for hospice care. We remain steadfast in our prayers for a miracle, trusting that in this time he can find comfort and peace surrounded by those who love him.
This crucial, compassionate care comes with a significant financial burden. Your support will help ensure Jerry receives the comfort, dignity, and rest he deserves.
