Help Jerry Heitzman

Hi, My name is Isis Mangum Ward. I have known Jerry and his wife, Colleen, for over 20 years. He is a Master Carpenter and Cabinet Maker, primarily working out of his garage. On March 14, 2022, a flash fire broke out while finishing some cabinets in his garage. He received 2nd, and 3rd degrees burns on both legs from the knees down to his ankles and had to stay at the UTMB Burn Unit in Galveston. The garage is a total loss, and he lost all of his tools he uses to build cabinets. Without the garage and his tools, he cannot create.

He is receiving burn treatments at least twice a week. Please remember his help within his community in Pasadena and down into Galveston. Jerry is a Vietnam Vet, a member of the American Legion Post and an active member of the Elks Lodge #2322. You know his story; he knows yours....Could you help me in giving him a hand up?
