Help Jerry Overcome His Hernia Surgery

Hi everyone,

This is Jerry, and he’s my 12 (almost 13) year old Yorkie. Jerry was recently diagnosed with a total of 3 hernias, 2 perineal and 1 inguinal. Over the past few months, I’ve had to take him to multiple vet appointments, including 1 emergency visit. Throughout these past few months, I’ve spent close to $2000 in just appointments and medication.

Those who know me personally know how much Jerry means to me, and I would do anything for him.

I was given a quote of $15,000 max for his surgery (I am waiting for an official final invoice). I’m making this GoFundMe in hopes of raising funds to go towards his surgery/recovery. I hate to be in a position of having to ask for donations but I cannot stand to see him in any more pain.

As his 13th birthday approaches, I’ve gotten to fully reflect on how much Jerry has actually impacted my life. He’s been by my side for about half of my life. He’s been through all my ups and downs, my teenage years, my adolescence, and he is now a part of my adult life. Having him by my side throughout all these 12 years has been nothing but incredible. Every day, I’m thankful for the universe aligning our timelines.
