Help Jerry(Lars) Larson with medical expenses

This is the story of Jerry Larson's journey/battle through colon cancer.

Lars was brought in to the E.R. with severe abdominal pain, surgery was done the next morning and Lars was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in January of 2019. In Febuary, the next month, genetic testing was done on the tumor that was removed; Lynch syndrome and mis-matched repaired genes were found.  In October, he had brain surgery to remove a colloid cyst. December he rang the 'cancer free bell'.
In May, 2020, he was diagnosed with another mass of stage 4 colon cancer. He had surgery to remove it, however, this time he ended up with a severe abdominal hernia. (Unfortunately the hernia has never been able to be repaired do to continuing cancer.) June, he had surgery for another obstruction; the obstruction was not removeable and his bowels had to be re-routed into a colostomy bag.
In March of 2021, his routine scheduled PET scan showed the cancer had spread into the top of his bladder and was also causing a uretal obstruction. Surgery was not an option, thus a percutaneous tube was placed into his right kidney.
In July of 2022, he was diagnosed with a severe UTI that has been ongoing and his immune system has been unable to fight off.
October, a CT scan with contract revealed the cancer was in his spinal column.
On November 27, he was placed on a new antibiotic which caused a severe allergic reaction. He spent a week in the hospital trying to recover; with hallucinations and headaches. While in the hospital an MRI was performed on the brain, which revealed the cancer has spread to it.
The doctors have said there are no other options of cancer treatment as he has done/tried them all.
Lars has chosen to spend the rest of his life with family and friends at home.

Lars has had several trips and appointments at the Mayo, U of M, St. Luke's, St. Mary's, Grand Rapids Clinic, Hibbing Fairview.

There has now been financial hardships from all of the trips, medical expenses and medical equipment that is not covered by insurance. We are trying to keep him comfortable on this last stage of his journey through cancer.

Any monetary donations or well-wishes would be greatly appreciated by the family.
