Help Jesalyne’s Family With Medical Expenses

Most of us are fortunate enough to never have to watch our kids go through traumatic medical events. The few of us who have know that it’s absolutely heartbreaking! Please help take one thing off of this family’s worry list.
The McKinish family is the type of family you just don’t see anymore. Mike and Heather have five kids together, ages 16 years down to the 4 week old baby. To Mike, his wife and their children are his absolute world. To Heather, Mike and her babies are everything. I had the pleasure of spending some time with them a few summers ago and the love they all have for each other is simply amazing.
Jesalyne is quite the 11 year old. She’s a straight A student and on the honor roll at St Eugene Catholic school. She loves playing volleyball and has aspirations to be a cross country runner like her big sister. She an avid scary movie and Walking Dead fan. She wants to be a movie make-up artist when she grows up and hopes to have a big family someday when she finds the man of her dreams.
This past Saturday morning Jesalyne was found unresponsive and rushed her to the ER. There she was raced into emergency surgery with a severe infection. With amazing doctors and the power of prayer the surgery went well. Jesalyne spent several days in the PICU on a ventilator and fighting to recover. While definite progress has been made the family needs some help.
Jesalyne is expected to remain in the hospital for at least another week. Mike has been by her side each day and night. Heather has been back and forth from home with the kids to the hospital, but they are all now moving to an AirBNB within walking distance to the hospital. In addition to the medical bills that will soon start to roll in, this family needs help with the housing and daily expenses they now have. At Christmas time please open your heart to this loving family. Any amount helps.
