Help Jess Lopardi In Her Battle Against Cancer

Meet Jess Lopardi. Jess is an altruistic person, olympic weightlifter, and loves her job in the biotech industry. Jess has been an essential worker during the pandemic. Her work, and company's contribution to research, has been instrumental in saving lives. And now Jess is in a fight to save her own. On March 3, 2021 Jess was taken to the ER. She had to stay in the hospital for 4 days where they performed a plural effusion (removing a liter of fluid from her chest), conducted a battery of tests (bloodwork, CT scans with contrast, ultra sounds, etc), removed a 3.5 cm lympth node from her neck for biopsy, and found a mass located on her heart directly behind her sternum. On Thurday, March 11, 2021 Jess received the devastating confirmation that she has Classical Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer (B Large Cell). After the diagnosis, she had to get a echocardiogram, PET Scan, a bone barrow biopsy,  and chemo chest port inserted, and yet another liter of fluid drained from her chest. After these additional tests, it was determined her Cancer was advanced (stage IV). The Cancer has spread from the mass on her heart to her left lung (with a partial collapse), chest wall,  and near the back of he neck in the vertabrae. Jess will under go 8 months of chemo Today is her first treatment). As if the brutality of hearing the word "Cancer" and the devastation it leaves in its wake isnt enough, the financial burden can be crippling, especially when she will be forced to take time off work (unpaid) due to chemo therapy, and the additional appointments needed to monitor her treatment and recovery.  Please help Jess in her Cancer battle by contributing anything you can to reduce the financial burden so she can focus solely on her health.
