Help Jess Ride the Waves to Victory

Hello! My name is Jess and I am an adaptive surfer based out of New Smyrna Beach, Florida! I am thrilled to be able to compete in my second season of the Association of Adaptive Surf Professional's World Tour this summer. I have put in many hours of training in and out of the water to be able to compete at a high level in the Prone division.

Surfing has opened up a world of possibilities for me after being diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called Hemi-Dystonia. It causes uncontrollable muscle spasms and affects my right side, leaving me unable to walk and a wheelchair-user for almost three years. I got into adaptive surfing through my rehabilitation and founded Team Florida Adaptive Surfing with my fellow surfers here in central Florida. Surfing makes me feel like I can take on the world and I am honored to be representing my team and my country in this upcoming season.

Any funds raised from this platform will be used towards competition fees, travel expenses, and lodging at the 2024 Association of Adaptive Surf Professionals competitions. Thank you for your generosity and support of my journey towards becoming a World Champion Adaptive Surfer.
