Jesse’s Family Loss: Bereavement Fund
Donation protected
During the night of January 3rd 2024 Kathee Dunham unexpectedly passed away. Kathee was Jesse's step-mom and has been a parental figure to him from the time he was 3 years old. Kathee is survived by Jesse, her son Mason (Jesse's brother) and her husband Dave (Jesse's dad), whom she has been a primary caregiver to for several years as he has developed Alzheimer's (Major Neurocognitive Disorder) .
Kathee and Dave owned a farm together and unfortunately Dave is unable to care for the farm without assistance due to the progression of his Alzheimer's. Jesse, along with his brother Mason, will be helping to figure out a suitable living situation for Dave over the next several months.
This GoFundMe is being created to alleviate financial burden on Jesse while he travels to and from Montana, requiring him to take significant time off work, to help organize care for his Dad (Dave) in the wake of Kathee's passing, as well as to help organize and attend Kathee's celebration of life.
The effects of the pandemic took a significant toll on Jesse's business, along with parenting through the pandemic (which has required significant time off work), it has meant that Jesse has not been in a financial position to deal with such an unexpected tragedy.
Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated; funds will be put toward airfare, food, and Jesse's bills as he will be required to be away from work and does not have paid bereavement leave/paid time off. It is our goal to eliminate the significant financial burden of this situation for him as much as possible so he can have time to properly grieve and assist his dad in finding a suitable living arrangement. We are deeply grateful for community in times like these.
