On Monday, June 3rd, 2024, Jesse Bean was admitted to the hospital with severe bilateral pneumonia and sepsis. Despite several days of treatment, his condition showed little improvement. Doctors began to suspect it wasn't just the pneumonia, but they had no clear answers. Biopsies of Jesse's lungs were taken, and after the procedure, his breathing tube couldn't be removed. Jesse was transferred to the ICU in a somewhat stable condition, requiring a high dose of oxygen. Unfortunately, his condition rapidly worsened, and he became unable to breathe even with support. On June 11th, the ICU doctors made the difficult decision to place Jesse in an induced coma. They are still running tests to determine the cause of his severe illness and respiratory failure.
