Help Jesse Recover: Support His Medical Care

Meet this adorable 6 month old pup, Jesse. Having a rough start to life down south, Jesse was brought to the the Sullivan County SPCA in Rock Hill, NY where he has been waiting to be adopted for months. On Sunday, 9/1/24, after noticing Jesse was vomiting, wasn’t eating, and lethargic, he was rushed to Guardian Animal Hospital to have tests and X-rays done. After being monitored with no improvements, Jesse underwent a 3 hour surgery at Quality Pet Care to remove a blockage from his stomach & intestines. Jesse now has staples from top to bottom of his abdomen and has a very long road to recovery ahead of him, where he will need 24/7 care with a loving medical foster.

We have started this fundraiser to help pay his medical bills, as we are a nonprofit organization that runs solely off donations from our community. We refused to give up on Jesse and did not hesitate to save him, no matter what the cost of his medical bills would be. The total amount that was spent on Jesse was $2,600.00. Your generosity will help us to pay his medical cost without worrying about how to keep our doors open to help the other homeless animals in our care.
