Help Jessica and baby Olivia
Donation protected
hi my name is Caitlyn and I’m fundraising for my friend Jessica and her daughter Olivia. They have had a horrible time renting as of recently and have had to move lots because of it. From ceilings leaking in their home to having a flood of human feces in their newest place and being evicted because of it in their newest one. This mother works so hard for her daughter and they only deserve the very best. They need our help in this hard time, and they deserve it !! Please find it in your heart to help them find a GOOD home away from all of this bad luck :(
Some words from Jessica : “Hello friends, normally asking for help isn’t something I do, as I try to work for everything I have, but as things are out of my control now, I need some help and I am asking.
As a lot of you know January 15, 2023, my daughter and I were forced to leave our home due to a pipe above us bursting, black mould being in the ceiling and a cockroach infestation. Olivia and I were homeless for 2 months as I was looking for a new place that was safe for us to live and not infested with cockroaches. March 15, 2023, we had started to move into our new home. Not even 12 hours of me having my house keys my kitchen sink had started to back up and flood my entire kitchen, this issue had continued to happen for over a week. April 7th, 2023, (Good Friday) my bathroom had started to back up with sewage, getting all over my floors. I had to leave my home because I could not stay there with my daughter. I had called maintenance to come and fix the issue and no one had called me, by 3pm that same day when I had finally gotten a hold of maintenance, they had told me that the fire department had to break down my door to try and stop this flooding because it was starting to leak into the unit underneath me. The 7th and 8th of April I was on the phone with maintenance trying to get this issue solved, they had told me it was fixed and left the human waste for me to clean. On April 9th, 2023, it had started to back up again and I had decided to start moving things out and stay with my mom. When I had went to go and move my stuff, I was informed I could only take the important thing as my home is now condemned, leaving myself and my daughter without anything. I’m going through insurance to claim all our belongings but as a single mom I am doing the best I can. I cannot afford first and last month on such short notice; again. I am working hard to try and beat the statistics of “single moms”, I work two jobs, I’m a full-time student, I work hard; but I need some help. I just want my daughter to feel like she has a home again.
If you have read this far thank you, I truly appreciate all the love and kindness we have received throughout this difficult time.
