HELP JESSICA FIGHT THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF CANCER

Hi everyone. I’m Diana Hendry Temoin a very long-time friend of Jessica Roth and am starting this page with another close childhood friend, Erica (Holloway) Moulton. The Roth, Hendry and Holloway families met before we all started Kindergarten and have been “BFFs” since before BFF was even a thing. If you have ever even crossed paths with Jessica Roth, walked into The Cobblery in Palo Alto, or had a child in her child’s class at school, you know what an amazing human Jessica is. She is the sweetest, kindest, most generous, loving woman, friend, sister, and mother. While she is a very humble spirit, we want to ask for your help, on her behalf, during this difficult time.

Many know that Jessica beat breast cancer several years ago and has been healthy and loving life until very recently. Over the past couple of months, Jessica started experiencing debilitating back pain and went in for an MRI and series of tests. Sadly, her cancer has come back, and they have diagnosed her with stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to her spine and liver. She will start Ibrance and radiation treatment, but her treatment plan is in the early stages and still coming together daily.

Jessica and her husband Rich are small business owners, and, in this country, that means high premium insurance plans, high deductibles, high prescription costs, etc. The diagnosis process alone has cost them thousands of dollars in just a few days. The many medications she will be required to take and the radiation treatment that she will undergo will certainly put them in financial hardship. ANY financial help that we, HER VILLAGE, could give to Jessica and Rich would help alleviate the heavy financial burden of the medication and treatments, and would hopefully help Jessica focus a bit more on herself and her family, but we understand she cannot manage that without help from us, her village.
