Help Jessica Pay for a Divorce Attorney

My name is Shawna Miki and my sister, Jessica, has been a stay-at-home mom to her 4 beautiful children, ages 1 to 19 for their entire lives. Unfortunately, she is in a very difficult divorce and custody battle. Along with being a full-time stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher, Jessica is actively working as a housekeeper on the weekends, often having to take her younger children with her. She is also looking to expand her employment hours. She is currently seeking legal counsel, but the legal costs are not sustainable without help.

Over the past two decades, Jessica has put any hopes of a career on hold to raise her children, making it possible for her husband to excel in his career substantially. While she has attempted multiple times to re-enter the workforce, taking care of her children has always been her priority. It is incredibly difficult for her to make the kind of money her husband has at his disposal to fund his own legal fees.

Due to being cut off from all funds by her husband, Jessica's current need for financial help with legal fees is urgent in these beginning stages. Every dollar raised will help her secure an attorney, as well as, the Guardian ad Litem appointed to the children, and any other miscellaneous expenses ordered by the court.
