Help Jessie beat this bump in the road

My sister Gisella Myers Pomonis, aka: Jessie has recently been diagnosed with Colon cancer.

She was having lots of stomach issues recently and has seen Dr. after Dr. and no one seemed to be able to give her any answers. Last week she was scheduled for a colonoscopy and they found a tumor blocking her colon. Low and behold colon cancer was found. It is my hope that we can put forth a strong effort as a community and give something back to one of our educators of our children.

Most of you know her as Ms. Pomonis the Red Mountain High English teacher. Jessie has dedicated her life to helping out the youth to be better adults in this world. She started out her teaching career at Westwood high school, and finally got an opportunity to transfer to Red Mountain High school her alma matter. She has been a shining light at the school becoming the student council advisor. She spends countless hours organizing assembly's and rally's. She plans all of the school dances and puts on a killer Homecoming and Prom every year for her students.

She was a foster mom for dogs and eventually ended up keeping one and turning him into a therapy dog. His name is Buster Brown and spends lots of time at Red Mountain.

I could go on and on about my big sister but, all I am asking for is to give back just a bit to help out. Someone that has chosen a career not for money or glory but she honestly believes that she can make the world a better place by helping out the next generation.
