Help Jesus Ortega Heal After His Accident

Hello everyone,

We reach out to you with our hearts in our hands to ask for your help and support during an incredibly difficult time. On 04/7/2025, my husband was in a motorcycle accident that has completely changed our lives. Those who know him know that he is a family man and a great friend who is always there when needed.

Since the accident, my husband has already undergone four surgeries to clean the wound on his left thigh. They had to remove skin and flesh down to the muscle to be able to get skin graft which he is not ready to get yet. He is currently using a wound vacuum until he’s ready for the skin replacement. He has also received oxygen treatment in a hyperbaric chamber to aid the healing process.

My husband is facing a long road to recovery. He will need ongoing medical care, therapy, and time to heal—not just physically, but emotionally as well. As his wife, I’ve taken unpaid leave from work to care for him and manage our home. On the day of the accident, my husband also lost his wallet.

He will need to replace important documents like his driver’s license, bank cards, carry permit, Social Security number, and the cash he had on him. As a result, we are now facing serious financial hardship—not only due to medical expenses but also for daily costs like housing, utilities, food, and transportation.

We are asking for help to ease this burden and allow us to focus on his recovery. Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward helping our family stay afloat during this overwhelming time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page can also make a big difference.

Nos dirigimos a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para pedir su ayuda y apoyo en un momento increíblemente difícil. El 04/07/2025, Mi esposo sufrió un accidente en motocicleta que ha cambiado nuestras vidas por completo. Quien lo conoce sabe que es un hombre de familia y un gran amigo que esta ahi cuando lo necesitan.

Desde el accidente, mi esposo ya ha sido sometido a cuatro cirugías para limpiar la herida en su muslo izquierdo. Tuvieron que remover piel y carne hasta el musculo para luego hacerle un injerto de piel. Actualmente lo tienen con un vaccum para la herida hasta que este listo para el reemplazo de piel. El tambien a recibido tratamiento de oxigeno dentro de una campusla para poder ayudar en la sanacion.

Mi esposo enfrenta un largo camino hacia la recuperación. Necesitará atención médica continua, terapia y tiempo para sanar, no solo físicamente, sino también emocionalmente. Como su esposa, tomé una licencia no remunerada el trabajo para poder cuidarlo a él y al hogar. El día del accidente, mi esposo también perdió su cartera.

Tendrá que reemplazar documentos importantes como su licencia de conducir, tarjetas bancarias, permiso de porte, número de seguro social y dinero en efectivo. Como resultado, ahora enfrentamos una gran dificultad financiera—no solo por los gastos médicos, sino también por los costos diarios como vivienda, servicios, alimentos y transporte.

Estamos pidiendo ayuda para aliviar esta carga y permitirnos enfocarnos en su recuperación. Cada donación—sin importar la cantidad—irá directamente a ayudar a nuestra familia mantenerse a flote durante este tiempo abrumador.
