Help Jim and Barb Crane with medical expenses.

As many of you know, the last five months have been unexpected and very challenging! In August, Grandpa Jim was diagnosed with low-grade lymphoma cancer. That diagnosis was challenging to hear but was quickly overshadowed when we found out that Grandpa contracted a staph infection from the biopsies. Jim was admitted to the hospital and began the fight for his life!
Since that day the infection has grown and even attached to his spine. We have had some positive moments and some good days, like thanksgiving dinner with the grandkids and children (pictured above); however, this battle has continued to be the most significant challenge yet for the Cranes. Jim has had two strokes and contracted pneumonia. Yet even with all of this, Grandpa Jim has held on. His doctors have said he has been at death's door for months, and yet he keeps fighting. Cade, his grandson, made a card for him and wrote a simple yet strengthening message, "Grandpa, fight hard," and "fight hard" is exactly what Jim and Barb have been doing.
Now, as kids and family, we are asking for help from loved ones. As with any situation like this, the first priority is health, but now we are working on managing the financial burden that has been accrued and still needs to be covered. Some of the costs include four months extra rent in Buffalo because they haven't been able to go home to Fort Myers, the cost of medicine, and the logistics of medical transport home to Fort Marys. Though we hope that most of the medical bills will be covered, that hasn't been confirmed at this date and time. We are asking for help with the extra housing, medicine costs and medical transport. Anything you can do helps!
Even more than the money, we ask for continued prayers as we still have a long road ahead, and Jim is far from healthy. We need God's help to see Jim fully recover!
