Help Jim and Sandra in Their Time of Need

My name is Susan Donaldson, and together with my siblings and dear friends, we share this family story.
Our brother, Jim Shaw’s fiancé, Sandra, was in a terrible car accident on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Sandra has a long recovery ahead of her. We thank God she survived the accident, but she will be unable to drive and will be out of work for some time. Jim is missing some work as well, as he is by Sandra’s side overseeing her care as needed.
Our Shaw family siblings, along with dear friends, are coming together to love on our brother and his fiancé in a tangible way. They live in Colorado, and most family members are unable to be there physically. Each one of us would love to be with Jim and Sandra right now, to give them a hug, to provide support for them, to cook a meal. We will hold them close in heart and prayers, and bless them.
Jim and Sandra are two of the most genuinely kind and loving people you’ll ever meet. They are sure to help others whenever there’s a need. Many fond memories of my brother volunteering time at Ronald McDonald House, just to name one of the many ways these two are a blessing to others.
Paramount to everything is how grateful we are that Sandra is still with us, and we ask that you join us in thanking God and praying for her recovery. Next, if you are able to share this post with others to get the word out, please do so. Lastly, if you have the ability to give financially, it will go a very long way to relieve some of the stress and financial burden impacting them now and in the coming days and weeks ahead.
We serve a God that is faithful, and we trust that He will be with Sandra and Jim every step of the way. To everyone who is able to share, pray, and give; you can know we will be forever grateful for each and every kindness shown.
With love and appreciation,
The Shaw Family
