Help Jim beat stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Hello, my name is Kristen Bruce. My brother Jim Bruce was recently diagnosed, in July of 2023 with an advanced stage 3 blood cancer called Classical Hodgkin Lymphoma, a cancer that attacks the lymphatic system. We could use your help and support to fight and beat this monster!!!

Jim first noticed a lump in his supraclavicular node back in April while he was on vacation diving ( he is an avid diver and spearfisher as you can see by the photo). He scheduled an appointment with the Dr immediately upon return and the 2 ugliest words were mentioned, lung cancer. They scheduled a Cat scan with contrast and his lungs were clear. Unfortunately, we didn't have a warm and fuzzy due to a family history of unknown primary cancer. A few more tests were completed and determined he had suspicious lesions on his spine which were metastasis, an enlarged liver and a hip lesion. A biopsy was performed and it came back inconclusive. He then went for surgery to remove an axillary lymph node for a biopsy. Finally, in early July we had a diagnosis, Classical Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was then sent for a PET scan to determine his stage. Unfortunately, he is an advanced stage 3.

Tuesday, Aug 1 - he will have another surgery to have his port put in so he can start chemo. He will have 6 months of chemo and immunotherapy.
