Help Jim During His Fight Against Lung Cancer!

Hi everyone! I'm Jim's oldest daughter Tara. I'm here to ask for your help during this trying time. A few years ago he went in for a routine catscan of his lungs. A few months ago my father went in for some routine scans for his breathing for his COPD and a surgeon noticed that one one of the nodular in his lung had grown in his right lung. A few weeks later they had him go in for a petscan to see if the nodular had grown. They had told him it had looked like it had grown but couldn't tell if it was cancerous. They decided and go ahead and do a biopsy. Two weeks ago he went in to the doctors office and they gave him the news, he has stage 1 lung cancer. They told him he needed radiation during that visit. The doctor also told my father last week that it would be best for him to take it easy and not work during his treatments. Many of you know my father has delivered the local newspapers since my sister and I decided we wanted routes in our teens. After his accident and heart surgery a few years back that became his only source of income. My whole life my father has been an extremely hard working family man. He's the type of man who will give you the shirt off his back and help you out the best he can, even if he doesn't have it. Jim is a member of the class of 1975 of Lyman Hall High School, Wallingford CT. Jim also is a founding member of the Feast of Friends in Wallingford (1978-1984).
