Help Jim Meade get into Assisted Living. Dementia!

This is my beloved brother-in-law James Meade. He is widower to Rebecca, his wife of forty years and the love of his life. They retired to the desert and mountains of Arizona and created a home in a friendly, tiny town. They did everything together and Jim took care of Becky during her long illness. She died and left Jim with progressive dementia.

He is moving as soon as possible in June to the gulf side of Florida so I can oversee his care.

Jim was a friend to everyone growing up including me.He loved to cook including prime rib roast every Christmas. You could show up at his welcoming house in Minnesota without even calling. He worked the night shift because it paid more. He still found time to deliver "Meals on Wheels' or go to a daughter's dance recital or a daughter's basketball game. A proud father. One daughter has had a stroke and the other raises a child with disability.

Jim now at 74, forgets to eat He forgets to shower, He goes to the local store and forgets to pay. Ha has been known to wander and walk down the middle of the road. His Arizona friend/caretaker locks Jim in the bedroom at night. It makes me so very sad.

I am touring assisted living/memory care places. Even with Jim's Post Office pension it is not enough money.Residential care has a high entrance fee and he definitely needs medication management and companion care which also have high costs.

Jim has no assets. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Could you perhaps donate? God bless you for considering our urgency.
