Help Jim Theriault rebuild his life

Saturday night at Midnight just as Easter began, our neighbor 70 year old Jim Theriault, better known to most as Snakebite, had a life altering event. His home of which he has lived for more than 20 years went up in flames. We heard the first explosion and ran to his aid as he stumbled out wearing only the shirt on his back, burned and bloody.




After our amazing firefighters put out the fire, there was nothing left aside from his workshop and tools. He also lost his friend Lucy, an elderly Russian blue cat, even though we smashed out the windows with hopes of her escape.




He has been apart of this community for 45 years. The devastation of this fire and the unfortunate circumstance of not having adequate insurance, has prompted us to start this gofundme. He needs anything he can get to help rebuild his life.




We have some incredible people in this community looking out for him and he will have a temporary place to stay. Hopefully, he’ll be able to keep his mind busy with work and rehab from his burns/injuries until a plan is set forth to rebuild.
