Help Jimmy Knowles through his lung transplant

It's rare to find someone who thoroughly devotes all of himself to his friends and employees, but that's who my friend Jimmy Knowles is. He gives his all day in and day out while struggling to take a breath. He has been combatting worsening symptoms for years now and with a smile on his face the whole time.

Jimmy is a lung transplant candidate who suffers from stage 4 COPD, hypoxia, and aortic occlusion. He is awaiting a double lung transplant later this year. He must travel to DC to live near the transplant facility for several months after his procedure. Travel and lodging are expensive, as are the 25 medications he currently needs to maintain his health.

Jimmy needs a lot of help. Please help my friends from Weld Tech and I help him. The travel required for this operation and the 22 tests he needs before he receives clearance for the new lungs are going to be costly and difficult.

I can't begin to imagine how stressful this has been for him, but I can only hope each of you stops for one moment to put yourself in his shoes and contribute even a few dollars to his healing journey. Every little bit helps. He's made such an impact on all of our lives.

His family, friends, pig, chickens, and dog need him to be better because our world wouldn't be the same without him.
