Help Jimmy Lin's Medical Expenses

My name is Michelle, and this fundraiser is on behalf of my dear friend Jimmy Lin. At 42 years old, he was diagnosed with severe Congestive Heart Failure, he had 30 pounds of fluid extracted from his body, and his heart was in dire condition. On June 27th, 2023, he underwent part one of multiple open heart surgeries. Part one, triple bypass and valve repair with an Impella pump implant. As he was being prepared for recovery, he had to be urgently reintubated, shut down his heart, and flush his entire system as his stats were not looking right. His body was filling with clots, but he made it through. On July 3rd, the Impella pump was removed. Despite all that is happening, he has the most positive and optimistic outlook. I am so happy and thankful that he is doing well given the situation.

Jimmy has a long road to recovery ahead and this fundraiser will assist greatly with his medical bills and aftercare treatment. There are numerous and unexpected adjustments that need to be made to ensure that his recovery is successful. He is one of the most empathetic, genuinely open-minded, kind-hearted, compassionate persons I have been graced with as a dear friend. He gives with his heart freely without any expectations. Several years ago, he was ready to lend me his all-electric car, so that I could save on gas for my lengthy work commute, even though his job requires him to drive a lot.
