Help Jimmy's Family with the Funeral He Deserves

It is with a heavy heart that we share the death of our beloved brother, James Paul “Jimmy” Gautreau Sr., on Sunday, January 8th. Jimmy had many health issues for a long time leading up to a sudden health crisis last week when God called him home.

During this difficult time, this GoFundMe page has been created to help his family cover the cost of Jimmy’s funeral services as his family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral.

Jimmy was full of life and above all full of love for his wife, Ellen, and their son James Jr. He was also a loving brother, uncle, cousin, friend and so much more to so many. Jimmy loved helping people and was always selflessly willing to lend his helping hands. Jimmy was a Veteran and an active member/volunteer of the Knights of Columbus Council 3023 and his Church, St. Thomas Aquinas in Derry NH.

Jimmy found enjoyment in cooking/grilling for friends/family at church outings, serving as an usher/greeter in church and volunteering at the St. Thomas Aquinas Food Pantry alongside his son James Jr. and fellow brother Knights of Columbus. Jimmy had an incredibly beautiful heart, smile and spirit that will be deeply missed. Jimmy dedicated his life to helping others, so his family wants to give Jimmy the funeral service he deserves to honor him and say the last goodbyes.

Calling hours will be held Monday, January 16, 2023, from 5 to 7 pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium 15 Birch Street Derry NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at 9:30 am, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue in Derry and burial with Military Honors, will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Route 3 North, Boscawen, NH. at 1 pm.
