Let’s help these girls with their medical bills

Hello, my name is Liz Faulkner and I am raising funds for my good friends, Marty Taylor and Randy Bennett. Those of you who know me or Marty or Randy know that we love our cocker spaniel fur babies. They are not pets to us but members of our family.

Right now, Marty’s fur baby Jo Jo is suffering from an initial diagnosis of epilepsy since this past summer. Just like human epilepsy, dogs can suffer some horrible seizures. Jo Jo had several very scary seizures over the summer. She was put on medication and we thought everything would be okay; however, she had breakthrough seizures again. While medication has been increased, more testing is needed to try to determine the cause of these seizures. MRIs, x-rays, and more blood work are needed. These tests are very expensive, and Marty could use our help in covering the costs.

Additionally when it rains it seems to pour and Marty seems to have a black cloud over her head right now and really needs our support. Her other fur baby Pip needed to have an emergency surgery for some gynecological issues. And on top of that Emi (the wild one) not to be out done by her sisters has suddenly sprung what appears to be a hard tumor/cyst on her shoulder. She was just diagnosed this morning and put on some medication until the results of the testing can be confirmed. And let not Libby be left behind she also seems to have some type of tumor/cyst on her chest wall that needs surgery. All girls will need to be spayed especially after Pip’s urgent surgery. As you can imagine all of these veterinarian expenses are weighing heavily on Marty. Any amount that you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Marty could also use your prayers as this is weighing heavily on her heart. She hates to see her beautiful fur babies suffering.

Update 1: UPDATE: Emi went over for an injection of Antibiotics last night and some liquid pain reliever. She is not doing well at all and I am so scared and worried. Called the vet and he said wait a few more days and then we may have to hospitalize her. She can't hold her head up she is so sick. We still do not have a confirmed diagnosis on her but my gut tells me he has this wrong. All I know is there is a bone hard bump on her shoulder as if the shoulder is out of socket. He says no, so what am I to do other than wait.

Marty is still asking for you to share this donation request and for your prayers. By now we would have thought that Emi would be getting better and it does not seem to be happening. She had to go back to doctor for a shot of antibiotics for Emi is being Emi and will not take the pills. Thus more expense.

I didn’t ask for the full amount needed at first for the goal seem insurmountable but you have all come through, thus I increased the goal. If you haven’t donated yet any little bit that you could spare would be greatly appreciated. The bills are mounting for Marty as we speak.
