Help Joeanne In Her Time of Need.

Joeanne is in need of your help. Please read on & consider donating to help her out in this time of need. She has asked me to reach out on her behalf.

Today, 11/07/2023, her house was damaged by a fire.

She left an incense stick burning on a table outside in the alfresco area unattended & went up the street to the shops. It must have fallen over onto the table & it went up, which also damaged the whole alfresco area, but luckily was contained to that area & did not spread inside.

Emergency services were quick to arrive & put the fire out before it spread inside the house.

Although the fire was contained to the alfresco area, where most of the building damage was, the entire interior of the home has also been engulfed by smoke, covering everything in a thick layer of black soot. All the ceilings, walls, floors, every single surface inside & all the contents are covered in it.

Unfortunately, due to a misunderstanding the home was uninsured.

If you dont personally know Joeanne, she is a single mother in her 50s.

Her home is located in the Heritage Parc Estate Rutherford NSW.

She built the home roughly 2 years ago, which is her dream house.

She is an AIN in aged care, working long hours, night shifts, most days of the week.

She is currently living pay cheque to pay cheque. Doing what she can. She works hard.

She has 3 fur babies, her cats, which she loves dearly. They are safe & unharmed.

She has no close family, just her 4 kids & extended family.

She kind of keeps to herself.

She doesn't have many close friends outside of work, although she is very close with her work colleagues.

She has been through a lot of struggles in life, overcoming a lot to get to where she is today.

She built this home about 2 years ago, her dream home, which she one day hoped to retire in.

Unfortunately she has little to no savings.

She has been advised that the repairs & clean up bill could be upwards of $100,000 or so.

Go fund me asked me to put a goal amount. I wasnt sure what to put. I don't expect to reach the goal amount. But any little but will help.

Currently the main focus is getting the home liveable, cleaning as much as possible, so that she can safely reside in the home & function, go to work, cook, sleep, etc, until she can raise some funds to get the major works done by professionals.

If anyone can please help in any way possible, that would be greatly appreciated. Whatever you can spare.
