Help Joanie Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Joanie Adams is a strong independent woman who wakes up with a smile everyday and has a strong love for life. For over 20 years, she has given her time to see brides happy on their wedding day by planning beautiful weddings. During football season, she is dressed head to toe in Green Bay Packer gear cheering on her team. She has always tries to encourage others to be healthy and never thought she would have to ask for this help.
Back in 2015, Joanie became a survivor of sepsis -- a life-threatening condition. She fought through the tough time and came out stronger. But in November of 2020, she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of plasma cells) in the lower L5 spine. This cancer is not curable, but it is treatable and Joanie is a fighter. She has completed radiation and is currently going through chemo.
In a few weeks, Joanie will be leaving her home in Prescott and heading to Phoenix to begin a stem cell transplant process. She will need to stop working for a total of 8 weeks and pay/stay in a hotel room for 6 of the 8 weeks. The other 2 weeks will be spent in a hospital room. Being out of work along with the mounting medical bills is putting a financial burden on Joanie.
She is looking forward to getting back to her energetic self, her brides, daily hikes, and screaming during the Packer game, but she needs your help.
If there is anything you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go to Joanie's medical bills and help her pay for her treatments.
Thank you all!
