Help Joann Landherr

Please help my mother, Joann. What was supposed to be a simple gallbladder removal has turned into a family nightmare.  During her procedure she was perforated not once but twice and caused her to bleed internally, which almost took her life. Because of the amazing Doctors at Johns Hopkins, they got her bleed under control. Unfortunately though, because of having to deal with her bleed, they weren't able to tend to her other perforation right away. Surgery is not an option because she is too weak and has blood clots in her lungs, in addition to a new one in her leg. For over a month she continued to leak toxins into her system. She now has multiple drains that require maintenance and multiple procedures and infections that are going to take months to heal. It's going to be months and months before she can even think about trying to get her life back. We have no idea when she will get to go home. To make matters worse no one has been able to visit her in the hospital because of covid-19. The reason I'm starting this fundraiser is because her insurance is about to run out and if there is any kind of lag it will set them back. Even with insurance this will surely be a life changing event financially. Anything you can donate would be so greatly appreciated, to relieve some burden would be so helpful.
