Help Joanna as she heals!

In the most recent California rainstorm, Joanna fell and broke her leg. The break was so severe that it required emergency surgery, with the placement of screws and other hardware to stabilize her leg. As a result, Joanna and her family incurred thousands of dollars in medical bills, despite having health insurance coverage. She will incur further out of pocket expenses when she has her second surgery to remove the hardware from her leg. In the meantime, she’s unable to bear weight on her leg and is currently working from home, relentlessly working to find the best foster and forever families for Pups Without Borders dogs.

Everyone who knows Joanna knows what a brilliant mind, tender heart, and kind spirit she has. She’s ALWAYS going above and beyond for her family, the dogs in the care of Pups Without Borders, and her friends.

Joanna has given her heart, soul, time, and own money to the rescue and the broader rescue community. It’s our turn to give back now when she needs us most. Let’s help alleviate the stressful burden of these medical bills, so she can focus on healing and caring for her family!
