Help Joanne Brown Visit & Volunteer in Africa!

Hey everyone!
Our mother, Joanne Brown, is retiring from teaching in just a couple short weeks and we want to do something special for her, especially since a party isn’t an option due to the COVID19 pandemic.
Throughout her 30 year long career, Joanne has been there for students when others looked away, she’s stepped up to volunteer for fund raisers and after-school events, she has worked nights and weekends to make sure that her students succeeded— all the while raising three children, for a long time on her own until meeting her wonderful husband, Russell.
She has sacrificed for others, and now we want to give something back to her. One of our mom’s lifelong dreams has been to travel to Africa and volunteer with wildlife and animal rescue/rehabilitation there. We know the world is insane right now, but if you can contribute even a little toward the expenses of getting her some airfare and travel arrangements to help make this happen, we would love to surprise her with a bit of a head start on achieving her dreams.
We think the fact that even in retirement her goal is to serve should speak for itself as to why she deserves this trip.
